Equipment

There is a perception that inline hockey is a very expensive sport. As with most other sports the cost associated with inline hockey will depend on the level at which it is played. At the entry level (Beginner) it is sufficient to have bike helmet, mouth guard, hockey stick and skates and generally requires modest investment. On the other end of scale, for the competition (championship) the players will require full set of protective and playing gear purpose made for inline hockey, including helmets, gloves, shin/knee pads, elbow pads, etc.

Safety

While the inline hockey has roots in ice hockey one of the differences is that it is not a contact sport. The rules of play are quite specific regarding personal safety. All players are required to wear appropriate equipment. It is our policy that all players entering the rink must wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
